Upon arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative. Enjoy a direct drive to your hotel in Negombo, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. Take a moment to unwind in the tranquil surroundings after your flight, and indulge in a well-deserved relaxation at the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, soak up the sun on the heavenly golden beaches of Negombo, a vibrant fishing town conveniently close to the airport.
Day – TWO Over night stay at Anuradhapura
Negombo – Anuradhapura
Embark on a captivating journey to Anuradhapura, where ancient ruins beckon with their historical allure. Explore magnificent sites including bell-shaped stupas, temples, sculptures, palaces, statues, viharayas, and ancient reservoirs, all steeped in rich history. Anuradhapura, the revered first capital of Sri Lanka, boasts some of the country’s most grandiose monuments, attracting visitors from far and wide.
Along the way, stop by the Muneswaram Kovil, an esteemed Hindu temple complex dating back to at least 1000 CE. While myths link the temple to the Indian epic Ramayana and its hero-king Rama, the kovil is renowned as one of five ancient kovils (Ishwarams) dedicated to Shiva in the region.
Begin your day with a visit to Sigiriya, with an exciting stop at the captivating Polonnaruwa en route. Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka following the decline of Anuradhapura in 993, boasts a rich history including Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas and the remarkable garden-city crafted by King Parakramabahu I in the 12th century.
In the evening, marvel at the wonders of Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty. Enter through the iconic Lion’s Mouth, though only the giant paws of the lion remain today. This magnificent structure, believed to be over a millennium old, was conceived and constructed by King Kashyapa during his 18-year reign. If time permits, venture to the Golden Cave Temple at Dambulla to complete your day of exploration.
Day – FOUR – FIVE Over night stay at Kandy
Sigiriya – Kandy
Explore the heart of Sri Lanka: Kandy. Originally influenced by the Portuguese as ‘Candea,’ Kandy is now the second largest city in the central region and serves as the capital of the country’s Central Province. En route, experience the thrill of elephant riding and visit an elephant orphanage, followed by a brief stop at a spice and herbs trail.
While in Kandy, don’t miss the iconic Kandy Tooth Relic Temple, a captivating Kandian Traditional Dancing program, the serene Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, and a tour of the charming Kandy City.
Day – SIX Over night stay at Nuwaraeliya

Embark on your journey to Nuwara Eliya, where you’ll be enchanted by tea factories, lush tea plantations, and the charming hillside often referred to as “Small London.” This delightful town boasts a refreshing cool climate, a sprawling Race Course, and a Golf Course nestled close by, along with a plethora of hotels and cottages offering diverse accommodations. En route, pause to admire the majestic Ramboda Falls.
During your stay in Nuwara Eliya, immerse yourself in the breathtakingly beautiful and verdant surroundings, taking in the picturesque views of the city, including Lake Gregory, and indulging in various excursions around the area.
Begin your day with a visit to the exquisite scenic island of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. Then, embark on an early morning train journey to Ella. Catch the train at Nanuoya railway station and alight at Ella railway station to continue with the day’s adventures. The train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella meanders through tea estates, stunning natural landscapes, charming waterfalls, and breathtaking vistas. Ella, renowned as the “highest village” in Sri Lanka, provides numerous opportunities to immerse yourself in the stunning flora and fauna of the country’s Hill Country region.
